Pink Dress Wishes exhibit

January 12, 2009

On January 9, 2009 a long-time vision of mine came to fruition. The first opening of Pink Dress Wishes!

I had an art exhibit featuring 27 prints, an artist book and an altered book based on the Pink Dress theme. I created a body of work inspired by a poem that daughter Maddie wrote when she was 8 years old. Click here to read the poem. Click here to read my Artist Statement about the show (this will help you to understand what my work is about).

The show is at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts in Sebastopol, CA. It runs until February 8.

And here are a couple of photos from the opening… for more photos, click on Photos.

Jen & Tom

IainTom, the kids and I drove up to Sebastopol on Friday. The opening was fantastic. Incredibly well-attended. We all had a great time and so enjoyed the company of our friends, The Hudak’s, who trekked up from Monterey for the event.
